CGroundz For Network Neutrality!
As some of you may know, I am currently employed by Bell Technical Solutions. My Employer holds the contract for ALL residential Phone and DSL repairs. I help to bring you your sweet beautiful internet.
Soon, you will have to pay for access to websites individually, and it WILL KILL the internet. I can confirm this is a threat, and needs to be dealt with.
I am in full support of open access networks, as I am open source software.
Everyone should fear for loss of their free un-restricted access to the internet. I never thought the day would come when Bell (and its third parties) and other ISP's like Rogers start charging you for each page view.
A SCAM like this would ensure devastation to many sites like Google, My Space, even Hotmail!
It would also devastate my project. Even though it's not so big right now, Each person who were to use my site engine would be affected.
Now dynamically generated HTML pages are all of the sudden not so interesting... If they do this I might as well give up as a PHP developer.
I am just one (lonley) Developer...
Just so you all know things move really slowly around here... I am one Developer. I'm not looking for help, but if I were, I get the feeling no one would help me. This is because I have not revealed my ideas to them. And therefore it just seems like another CMS. I assure you this will not be the case. I am a genius :P This is a HOBBY to me, as well as I have a real job to worry about, so don't expect much! Although I do say, things been moving pretty fast on DevCopy. I cant wait for the next LiveCopy Update and private alpha testing!
Registration broken?
I have reason to believe the registration is broken. I will fix this in the next update... or maybe temporarily fix it... well see...
Virtual Hosts back Online!
Well, FINALLY I got the server online. I realized somehow the rule to allow port 80 in firestarter got removed.... but I added it again and it worked, just not the VirtualHosts. I had been messing around in the configs to fix the problem, when the problem wasnt the configs. As a result, I wasted even more time fixing something I broke. Oh well.
Spam on DevCopy!
I am testing some new code on DevCopy, so I invite whoever it was spamming me before to spam me again. Some progress being made but slowly :) This is due to my real work :(
